How Can I Help?

Volunteer your talents:
Help us build the homes that become the foundation for strong families and prosperous communities by picking up a hammer, a paintbrush, or a screwdriver at the work site.

Contribute your special skills:
Help ease the administrative burden of our organization. We can always use help with publicity, fundraising, fiscal management, and volunteer coordination. If you would like to help, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Survey.

Help with funding:
Our greatest need is always financial. Building new homes requires legal advice, permits, land, and construction materials. Cash donations defray these expenses, making it possible for us to continue our mission. Businesses capable of donating services or supplies are valuable partners in the work of Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity. To donate click here.

Donate to Habitat for Free:
“City Market Cares” is a program which enables your purchases to earn money for Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHfH) whenever you use your City Market Value Card.  You see, Kroger, the parent company, makes a quarterly donation of a percentage of your Value Card purchases to this designated charity.  To date, this program has generated much needed funds for Habitat.  The best part is that it costs you absolutely nothing except taking the brief time to sign up.
To help us, your Value Card number must be registered with the Kroger Corporation designating  CCHfH as your non-profit of choice.  This may be done by sending your name, address, phone number, and card number (immediately beneath the bar code) to our local Habitat office.  You may use one of three ways to do this:  1. email these four items to chaffeehabitat@chaffeeco.net, 2. phone and leave them on the answering machine at 395-0482, or 3. jot these items on a piece of paper and mail to CCHfH, P.O. Box 4936, Buena Vista 81211.
The best part is, it costs you absolutely nothing except the brief time to send this information.  Please help raise our annual intake by doing this simple act right away.  Thank you for supporting our effort to provide affordable housing in Chaffee County.
